NAHA - North American Hairstyling Awards

North American Hairstyling Awards

Since its humble beginnings in 1989, NAHA finalists and industry elite have brought this iconic photographic beauty competition to new heights year after year. NAHA continues to recognize the beauty industry’s most talented artists and advance the careers of stylists around the world.

While attending school, our students have the opportunity to compete for the NAHA Student Hairstylist of the Year award. The North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) is the most prestigious photographic beauty competition in North America, celebrating the artistry and skill of the professional salon industry. Each year, individuals are recognized in 13 categories of excellence during a star-studded Awards Ceremony.

SALON TODAY MAGAZINE - 2023 SCHOOL OF THE YEAR

Great salon and spa design can evoke another place, another era or even another state of being. It sparks emotion, whether that’s the vibrant vibe of a cutting floor community, the creative show-and-tell spirit of the color bar or the calming Zen of the spa zone.

Each year, Salon Today Magazine recognizes salons, spas and beauty schools for exemplary design. In 2023, the new Aveda Institute Indianapolis was named School of the year.

This isn’t our first honor though! The Aveda Institute Chapel Hill took home the honor in 2016 after opening it’s new facility. Our facilities are a reflection of our commitment to excellence in beauty education!
